Včela, exhibition at Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan, included mixed media drawings on paper and panel, bronze casts, and an agricultural found object circa 1900 (bee box shipped from the Slovak Republic). -
Ecotone Study #3: CORPUS, 2018 (Cemetery)
The companion land-based artwork at Old Cox Butte Cemetery included a piano, hand dug grave and wood ash. CORPUS straddled boundaries between art and science and the human body and the body of earth. -

Fire Renderings, 2016
Fire Renderings in Fires of Change: the Art of Fire Science Coconino Center for the Arts, Flagstaff, Arizona and University of Arizona Museum of Art, Tucson, Arizona. With Ponderosa logs and a milled slab collected from a burn site in Northeastern Arizona, I worked directly with fire to alter raw material. The slab is filled with cinders collected from Red Mountain and pot ash. -

Včela is an installation and reading in Project Space (Salem, Oregon) investigating honeybees, community and decay. Materials included: 75 drawings, 48 hollow logs, orchard ladder, wood ash, 500 bee carcasses, honeycomb, sculpted object, five bottles of mead wine. -
